7. Hundisburg Palace and Baroque Garden, Althaldensleben Landscape Park
"Forest Discovery Centre Hundisburg" (in the palace)
Information and communication centre for the state’s forestry enterprises. Forest adventure, learning tours of the forest and landscape park, training and event facilities.
8. Parks and Gardens in Burg
In the Goethe Park there is a large play area and a skating facility.
There is a playground on the Weinberg.
There is a water playground and a play hill in the Flickschu Park.
10. Elbauenpark on the Elbe
The park is geared towards families. Numerous items as animal enclosure, climbing park, sports complex, fitness trail, slide tower, summer toboggan run, ElbauenZip and several playgrounds delight young and old.

11. Rotehorn City Park
Two playgrounds, Segway and bicycle rentals, and various barbecue areas and a rowing and pedal boat rental.
12. Klosterbergegarten on the Elbe and Gruson Greenhouses
The Gruson Greenhouses hold themed family-friendly events and craft activities. Dates here (only in German).
13. Ilsenburg Abbey and Palace Gardens (Harz)
Stay on the meadow areas possible for playing and picnics. In addition, directly adjacent to the park there are playgrounds, a disc-golf course and a Kneipp facility with an adjoining children’s water play area.
14. Drübeck Abbey and Abbey Gardens
Playground next to the café in the gardener's house.
15. & 16. Wernigerode Palace and Palace Gardens
Playground and lawn in the pleasure garden.
Adjacent to the former Princely Tiergarten is the Wildpark Christianental with numerous domestic animals, petting zoo, and dining facilities.
Lots for families to see and do; there’s also Wernigerode Palace.
18. Michaelstein Abbey and Abbey Gardens
There are educational museum offers for school classes, groups of children and children’s birthdays on the themes: Enclosure Rooms, Abbey Gardens and the exhibition KlangZeitRaum (SoundTimeSpace).
In addition, there are various activities for children during the holidays, from handicrafts and music-making to herb detectives, as well as the monastery festival with a colourful market on the 1st Sunday in August.
20. Spiegelsberge Landscape Park
Spiegelsberge is home to Halberstadt’s animal park with many native and exotic animals (admission fee).
Playground also available on the Spiegelsberge grounds.

The varied landscape of the park offers much room for exploration and is particularly well suited for children.

Digital offer: Meet cinema hero "Alfons Zitterbacke".
With the mixed reality app "Set-Caching" it is possible to experience the original film locations of the movie "Alfons Zitterbacke - Endlich Klassenfahrt" up close. The app takes you to six stations on the castle grounds where you have to solve tricky riddles, among other things. The set caching app is available free of charge in the app stores.

The palace park has a large sandbox, water playground, beachvolleyball fields, outdoor chess and an animal park.
