What are the Garden Dreams?

Magnificent baroque gardens, world-famous landscape parks and idyllic parks with botanical abundance. In 2000, the state of Saxony-Anhalt initiated a project that was unique to date: the most beautiful and important parks were selected to represent the approximately 1,000 garden monuments in the state and combined in the tourist and monument preservation network Garden Dreams – Historical Parks in Saxony-Anhalt. The green feel-good program in 50 Garden Dreams parks in the state leads along picturesque paths through parks with charming sculptures, castles and manor houses. Dreamy places lure you to rest and the senses are spoiled by the play of colors and the scent of flowers. Picnics in the countryside, plant markets or classical concerts in front of a fantastic backdrop offer unforgettable experiences.
